Staged Readings provide an exciting and dynamic forum to bring great stories and characters to life without the rigors of a full-scale production. Audiences love the intimacy and accessibility of the process, and directing a staged reading is a wonderful way for a new director to gain experience, skills, and confidence.
Join Director and Teacher/Artist Ken Tschan for this fun and engaging 2-hour workshop. The session will cover such topics as play selection, casting, scheduling, character development, scene analysis, “getting to the crux,” setting(s) and staging, plus other important considerations.
